Anyone can enter any class there is a charge of $5.00 which entitles you to
enter two categories once you have been admitted to the show. You may only
enter one tattoo per class, however you may enter the same tattoo into two
different classes as long as the tattoo fits into the class requirements listed
Once a class has started judging there will be no late entries.
Judging will be done by a panel of at least 3 judges. If the Judge knows the
artist or person then they will not be allowed to judge that tattoo. Scoring will be
done on a 1-10 scale, based on the overall appearance of tattoo. When
applicable: originality, lines, coloring, shading, overall design, flow and
movement of the tattoo will all be considered for scoring. In the event of a tie
between tattoos they will be re-judged.
Small: Must fit within a 3”x 3” area.
Medium: Must fit within a 6”x 10” area.
Large: Larger than 6”x 10” but not a complete arm or leg sleeve or a full back piece.
Arm Sleeve: Must be a complete sleeve, covering both upper and forearm.
Leg Sleeve: Must be a complete sleeve, covering entire leg.
Back Piece: Must cover entire back.
Black & Grey: Must be black and/or gray shades of ink. White ink is
acceptable - NO colored ink.
Oriental: Must be of far eastern design.
Pinup: Must be pinup style art.
Cover-up: Must be a cover-up of an existing tattoo. Must have photo of
covered up tattoo.
Horror: Must be a horror style tattoo.
Portrait: Must be recognizable as the person portrayed. Must have photo or
other acceptable reproduction of the person depicted. Must be a
human subject, no unrealistic character/s such as cartoon art.
Traditional: Must be simplistic traditional art, Neo-traditional art will be judged
under the new school class.
New School: Neo traditional, or graffiti influenced tattoos.
Floral: Must resemble flowers or plants.
Color: Can be any style or size of tattoo as long as it has bright vibrant coloring.
Overall body: Can be spread out multiple smaller tattoos (at least 3) up to full
Tattoo of the day: Must be done entirely that day of the show.
First Tattoo: Must be done during the convention.

Piercing Contest Rules/Guidelines
.1 - Placement, where on the actual body, is the piercing, and is it placed well. (
example. left eyebrow, above corner of eye, or middle of brow...)
.2 - Angle, does the angle of the piercing, match the angle of the body where it was
placed, or is it placed in a way where the angle best suits the area to be pierced.
.3 - Depth, the piercing should be done so as to allow small movement with the motion and
contour of the body, but not so deep as to cause bunching of the skin, and or discomfort
for the piercee
.4 - Jewelry, is the jewelry matching the style and placement of the piercing, ( example.
a 12g 3/4" hoop, would most likely not look well in a nose...)
.5 - Appeal, the piercing should not look out of place, or have a negative impact at first site,
( example something that may, so to say, turn your stomach, or make you look away,
would not be appealing )
.6 - Creativity, self explanitory, be creative, we dont wanna see the same old stuff, ( navel,
eyebrow, etc )
|NO ARTISTS OR PERSONS FROM THE PRESENTING STUDIO WILL BE JUDGING.
ALSO IF A JUDGE KNOWS EITHER THE ARTIST WHO DID THE WORK OR THE
ENTRANT THAT JUDGE WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO JUDGE THAT ENTRY.
